Imation's SuperDisk drive is built especially for use with the iMac. It has a design to complement the sleek look of your iMac and a USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface for a plug and play, hot-swappable connection. This means that the SuperDisk drive is ready to go as soon as you plug it in and if you want to swap it with another USB peripheral, there is no need to shut your system down first. The USB interface also allows you to daisy chain more than 100 USB peripherals from one port through USB hubs. SuperDisk media provides as much as 85 times greater capacity than a conventional floppy diskette - up to 120MB of data.

SuperDisks can read and write to both 720KB and 1.44MB PC formatted diskettes and 1.4MB Mac formatted diskettes. SuperDisk drives are also faster than floppy drives. They spin SuperDisks at a high speed, at up to 1440RPM, and they also transfer data quickly to your computer, at up to 700KB per second.
